Ground Floor
Kitchen
Large kitchen with walnut wood dining table, large fridge-freezer, electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, espresso machine and cafetiere, toaster and all necessary implements and plates, cutlery etc. There is also a huge amount of storage space in the old-fashioned pantry with original slate shelves, and walk-in cupboard. Wonderful view of the beach and Snowdonia as you stand on large terracotta tiles and do the washing up!
Utility
Utility Room / scullery - a spacious room with plenty of hooks for coats and jackets etc, as well as floor space for shoes and boots and beach things. Washer-drier and drying racks above radiators for outdoor clothing and shoes.
Sitting Room
The Sitting Room faces south and west, with spectacular views. You see the sunset, and the huge panaroma with the bay, beach, mountains and peninsula. This room is often used as a revision room by kids when we take the whole house, and the upstairs sitting room is the grown-up sitting room. Comfy seating for seven, and colour television with DVD, VHS, cassette and CD players.
Playroom
Playroom with dolls' house, books, small TV/video, puzzles and games. This is a great kids room; located between the hallway and the sitting room, it is easy to know what they’re up to, yet they are in a space of their own. In addition to children-sized chairs next to the small table for drawing etc. there is also a solid wood day bed (from Bali) that is good either for sitting and reading on, or for an afternoon nap.
Bedroom 1
One of the largest and possibly the most beautiful room in the house. Painted a beautiful earthy red, there is a very unusual 4 metre long West African hanging above the wooden King-sized bed. The main window overlooks the sea, and a very charming alcove window overlooks the garden and onto Harlech and the mountains. Stripped boards, antique rugs and furniture complete the atmosphere
Bedroom 2
A very cosy small bedroom with two three foot (90 cm) wide bunk beds each with reading lights. Children always make a beeline for this room.
Bedroom 3
Larger than bedroom 2, and a light and airy room. Two antique twin beds and an antique wardrobe.
Bathroom
Bathroom contains a bath with shower, toilet and washbasin, heated towel rails and a terracotta tiled floor. There is also a separate toilet with washbasin and terracotta tiled floor.
